Holiday Inn Express Suites 830-693-0707 (all rooms are suites with mini fridge, microwave - lots of good reviews on tripadvisor rate includes free hot breakfast)
Best Western - phone: 830.693.5122 (clean, fairly new, free hot breakfast)
Hidden Falls Inn - phone: 830.798.1895 (all non-smoking, right on the lake, free hot breakfast)
The Retreat on the Hill - New unique property in Cottonwood Shores
Quality Inn - phone: 830.693.7531 (microwave, fridge, coffee maker, free hot breakfast)
Hill Country Inn - phone: 830.693.3637 (oldest in town, free continental breakfast - this one doesn't come highly recommended)
[Note: All of the above are within a 5-7 minute drive from the house. Hampton Inn and Wallace Guest House are closest (you don't even have to get on the main road). Best Western, Hill Country Motel and Quality Inn are just north on 281. Motel 6 is near Walmart.]

ROOMS FILL UP EARLY THIS TIME OF YEAR SO CALL SOON! If you call one of the hotels and they tell you they’re booked, try again a week or so later. For some reason they often say they are full early then free up a bunch of rooms later.
